The Home Ownership Program allows low- and middle-income persons to buy a home of their own. CAADC first buys and renovates the home. All homes in the program are completely rehabilitated and meet or exceed local codes. In most cases, the homes have all new plumbing, heating and electrical systems as well as new kitchens, baths, flooring, windows and more. The homes are then sold to income-eligible families. Homes in Chester and Darby sell for $40,000 to $70,000. Homes in Yeadon and Lansdowne sell for $80,000 to $160,000. For more information, please call the Media Office at (610) 891-5101.
