Home Ownership Program

The Home Ownership Program allows low- and middle-income persons to buy a home of their own. CAADC first buys and renovates the home. All homes in the program are completely rehabilitated and meet or exceed local codes. In most cases, the homes have all new plumbing, heating and electrical systems as well as new kitchens, baths, flooring, windows and more. The homes are then sold to income-eligible families. Sale prices range from $100,000 - $150,000.

CAADC is putting the finishing touches on the most recently renovated home for sale in our Dream Home Ownership Program. In this program, CAADC buys vacant, dilapidated homes, renovates them, and sells them at affordable prices. This 3-bedroom, 1-bath home is located at 207 Crum Creek Road in Woodlyn, PA. The extensive renovations include new heating and central air conditioning, refinished hardwood floors, a new kitchen and bath, new wiring, roof and much more. Asking price for the home is $127,000. Interested buyers should contact CAADC at 610.891.5101.  Income guidelines apply, although this program is targeted to middle-income families who are pre-approved for their mortgage. Interested buyers who are not pre-approved or who feel they may need assistance getting a mortgage are encouraged to contact Media Fellowship House for information on their First-Time Homebuyer Program (see their website at http://www.MediaFellowshipHouse.org).
